On young team falling short in first two games of conference play...
"We have just really has to shift our line up so many times, I think it has made it difficult to get into a rhythm and a feel for how it is going to flow on the court for us. We've had injuries and illnesses. The people that have been out have been impact players, missing them has changed the mojo on the court I guess. Our Schedule has also been really tough. Once we made it through that preseason we had things happen and we haven't been able to figure out who we are and what we can do. There are quite a few reasons to explain what exactly is going on but, the girls are incredibly excited to continue in the SEC, they are working hard in the gym. The changes we are working on implementing, they are making. Really in sports you have to learn how to have a short memory and take it a day at a time."
On the offensive struggles so far this season...
"Yeah so far it really has. We haven't had a flow, so sometimes it is our first contact that gets us in a position where we aren't as strong as we normally are. Offense has got a long ways to go, but that is okay with us because we know we are capable. We just have to really dial in and focus."
On working towards greater things and expectations moving forward...
"Well I think every team in the SEC now has improved tremendously. We have new staffs and news players. Most players that are coming into programs are just so talented. The sport has spread so quickly across the country. The coaching is fantastic for these hough school kids. When you get a new class you are getting people who can help you right away. Everybody is good, the playing field is very level. Anyone can win on any given night in my mind. You just have to have new hope and new ways of thinking each match. There is no way you can expect to have an easy win anywhere in the SEC. Preparing the team every competition night to play to their fullest potential is really tough."
