TexAgs Crawfish Boil and Spring Game Tailgate: Sat., April 8th

Howdy, Ags! Spring football is still around the corner, but it’s never too early to start making tailgate plans! Join us for our 2nd annual TexAgs Crawfish Boil on Saturday, April 8th at the TexAgs office. The whole family is invited to come out and enjoy some crawfish, beer and live music right before kickoff of the 2017 Maroon & White game.

Doors will open at 10:30 a.m., and the game is scheduled to start at 1:00 p.m. Feel free to bring lawn chairs and tailgating games if you’d like.

We’re excited to announce that we’ll have live music at this year’s tailgate. Logan Byrd, son of country music star Tracy Byrd and Fightin’ Texas Aggie Class of 2020 will be performing live out on the patio.

We’re happy to partner once again with Shipwreck Grill, our official crawfish provider. Each ticket will get you 3 pounds of crawfish with potatoes and corn. Beverages will be provided courtesy of Aggieland Bud and Rebecca Creek Whiskey.

There will be tents, speakers and TVs set up to accommodate people on the inside and outside of the building, and the TexAgs Radio studio will be open to the public as a photo booth.

Tickets

We only have 150 tickets available, so we encourage you to purchase them in advance. We will sell tickets at the door IF there are any leftover! Guests are not required to be a Premium or Varsity subscriber.

Those who pre-purchase their tickets online will receive their wristbands at the front desk of the TexAgs office upon arrival at the tailgate.

  • Adult ticket: $25.00 (Alcohol included for ages 21+)
  • Student ticket: $15.00 (for ages 13+)
  • Child ticket: $10.00 (for ages 12 and under)

If your child won’t be eating, you're welcome to bring them at no cost – but they will not be given a ticket for crawfish.

Thanks and Gig’em!

Wouldn't it be better to wait until November to have crawfish?

This is related to the spring game and you can't really move it to November or to a weekend not to conflict with the Masters.

Crawfish is not in season in November.
