2018 Yoakum DB Jordan Moore commits to Texas A&M
Christmas came a few hours early for Kevin Sumlin and the Texas A&M coaching staff as highly-touted Yoakum defensive back Jordan Moore committed to the Aggies tonight. Moore becomes the Aggies' second defensive commit in the 2018 class and moves the group to 6 overall commitments.
The 6-0, 190-pounder chose Texas A&M over Texas, LSU, Michigan, Baylor and Florida State, among others. Earlier this month, Moore and his Yoakum teammates made it to the state finals before falling to Mineola.
A huge credit should go to Kevin Sumlin and the defensive staff for overcoming what looked like a large Burnt Orange lead at one point. There was also a deep connection between a few members of the 2017 A&M class (Roshauud Paul, Kellen Mond, Devin Morris) and Jordan which played a big role down the stretch.
Jordan's twin brother, Josh, is a blue chip wide receiver prospect who is expected to make his college choice next summer.
