YESSIR: Plano East LB Anthony Hines commits to Texas A&M
Highly touted Plano East linebacker Anthony Hines announced moments ago that he will be an Aggie. Hines is an enormous get at a position of need for Kevin Sumlin and Texas A&M, and he becomes the third linebacker commitment and 24th overall in the 2017 class.
Hines ultimately chose the Aggies over UCLA, Penn State, TCU, Florida, and Ohio State. Over the course of his high school career, he received over 80 college football scholarship offers. The 6-3, 220-pounder joins Santino Marchiol and Devodrick Johnson as A&M's three linebacker commits. Hines will compete in the Under Armour All American game in late December prior to enrolling at Texas A&M this spring.
