Around The Association: Aggie Ring Day April 2016
For more than a century, the renowned Aggie Ring has forever linked each and every member of the Aggie Network. This April, more than 5,000 Aggies received one of their very own — the largest Aggie Ring Day in Texas A&M’s history. The Association of Former Students presents this special episode, where we relive the energy and excitement of this year’s Aggie Ring Day.
Plus, we hear two stories from the day both focused on giving back. Watch as the Class of 1969 surprises a veteran with an Aggie Ring scholarship and hear the story of a daughter who saved up the entire time she was a student, so she could surprise her dad with his own Aggie Ring.
The Association of Former Students is the oldest organization serving Texas A&M University in support of the ever-growing Aggie Network. As a service-minded organization, The Association works to "pass back" the core values, traditions and experiences that make Texas A&M unique by inspiring the Aggie Network to "pay it forward" through programs dedicated to giving, engagement, volunteering and networking.
