Men’s Golf
- A&M took home the team title this weekend at the 2016 Desert Mountain Intercollegiate in Scottsdale Arizona.
- Senior Ben Crancer led the Aggies with an individual first place finish.
- Freshman Chandler Phillips finished in a tie for third individually.
- A&M will compete again at the General Hackler Championship on March 12-16 in Myrtle Beach South Carolina.
Men’s Tennis
- No.8 Texas A&M swept the competition on Sunday at the George P Mitchell Tennis Center.
- The Aggies first took down Florida 4-3 and then Nicholls State 6-1 improving their overall record to 14-3 and 2-0 in the SEC.
- A&M will be on the road this weekend for a pair of SEC matches with Arkansas on Friday and Ole Miss on Sunday.
Women’s Tennis
- No.14 A&M claimed its first SEC victory on Saturday taking down No.38 Alabama 4-1 at the Alabama Tennis Stadium.
- The Aggies improved their overall record to 9-4 and 1-1 in the SEC.
- A&M will host their first SEC home match on Friday against No.25 Mississippi State at the George P Mitchell Tennis Center.
Soccer
- The Aggies were short handed this weekend with only 12 field players for the exhibition match on Saturday against Oklahoma State.
- A&M was defeated in three 30 minute periods 3-1 at Ellis Field.
- The Aggies will return to Ellis Field on April 8 to host the Houston Dash.
Equestrian
- No.3 Texas A&M fell to No.1 Auburn in a tie breaker on Saturday at the Auburn University Horse Center.
- The Aggies are now 9-3 overall, 3-3 in the SEC and will be the No.3 seed at the SEC Championships on March 26-27 in Athens Georgia.
- A&M will take on SMU on March 19 and plan to honor their seniors after the meet.
Swimming and Diving
- A&M is hosting the NCAA Zone D Diving Championships Monday through Wednesday at the Student Recreation Natatorium on the Texas A&M campus.
- Divers at the event hope to earn a spot in the 2016 NCAA Swimming & Diving Championship.
- Action for the women begins today at 11:00 AM and the men will start around 5:45 PM. Tomorrow’s schedule is the same with women at 11 and men at 5:45. On Wednesday the women will get started again at 11:00 AM and the men at 3:00 PM.
Softball
- No. 9 Texas A&M finished the weekend at the San Diego Classic 3-1 with both games scheduled for Sunday cancelled due to weather.
- On Friday they run ruled Boston University 9-1 in 6 innings but later fell to San Diego State 10-5.
- The Aggies made history on Saturday taking down San Diego 21-0 in five innings after their 2-1 win over Grand Canyon.
- The 21 runs against San Diego is the most runs scored by the maroon and white in the Jo Evans era.
- A&M improves to 20-2 on the season as they look ahead to Wednesdays match up against Sam Houston State in Huntsville at 6:30.
Baseball
- No.4 Texas A&M swept Yale this weekend starting with a 12-5 victory on Friday, 13-0 on Saturday and 10-2 on Sunday.
- The Aggies improve their record to 11-1 and will host Northwestern State tomorrow at 6:30 and Wednesday at 6:30.
Men’s Basketball
- Incase you missed it, No.20 A&M clinched the SEC title on Saturday defeating Vandy 76-67 at Reed Arena on Senior Night.
- Jalen Jones and Tyler Davis lead the Aggies in scoring with Jones posting 17 points and Davis with 16.
- A&M will head to Nashville this weekend for the 2016 SEC Tournament where they are the No.1 seed and will have their first game Friday.
Women’s Basketball
- No.15 A&M fell to Tennessee 70-60 in the quarterfinals of the SEC Tournament on Friday.
- Courtney Williams lead the Aggies scoring 20 points.
- A&M's season record is now 21-9 and they are now waiting for the NCAA Selection Show which is set for Monday March 14 at 6:00 PM on ESPN.
