Turnover-plagued Aggies fall on road against Arkansas, 74-71

Arkansas' Moses Kingsley scored a team-high 18 points and Dusty Hannahs added 17 — including two free throws with six seconds left in the game — as No. 5 Texas A&M fell, 74-71, to the Razorbacks at Bud Walton Arena.

The Aggies had a chance to tie the game in the final six seconds, but D.J. Hogg's three-point attempt landed hard off the back rim as time expired.

Danuel House led Texas A&M with 24 points while Tyler Davis chipped in 14 in the losing effort.

Texas A&M found itself trailing throughout the contest due in part to sloppy ballhandling, committing a season high 21 turnovers. The Aggies were also hampered by foul trouble. Alex Caruso picked up two quick fouls in the first two minutes of the game and was limited to 19 minutes, while forward Jalen Jones fouled out down the stretch.

Arkansas appeared to take control of the game with just over two minutes to play when Hannahs made a long off-balance jumper with the shot clock expiring to extend the razorbacks' lead to 69-64. But A&M battled back when Admon Gilder hit a three-pointer and House made two free throws to cut the Arkansas lead to 71-69.

With just over 30 seconds remaining, the Aggies were poised to tie the game when House stole a pass and started a 3-on-2 break. However, Caruso's pass in the lane was intercepted and the Razorbacks held on for the win.

The loss drops the Aggies to 17-3 on the season and 7-1 in SEC play. Texas A&M returns to Reed Arena for high-profile matchup with Big 12 foe No. 14 Iowa State this Saturday. Tip time is scheduled for 1:00 pm.

Does Kennedy just not like to call time outs when things r going south? Seems like with Sr in trouble and three freshman on the floor - on the road .. He might want to get off his butt and do some coaching. They caught Kennedy looking ahead. Kids were not ready
