Aggie fans from around the state, across the country and even all over the world had been anxiously awaiting Saturday, September 12 for what felt like an eternity.

The grand(iose) opening of the new and improved Kyle Field.

Over 104,000 marooned-out fans made the pilgrimage to College Station to see the stadium's official coronation as the finest, most awe-inspiring facility in all of college football.
