Aggie Football, adidas unveil black unis for South Carolina game
After adidas Football US leaked new black uniforms Thursday night, the apparel company and Texas A&M Football's week-long marketing build-up reached its zenith on Friday when the answer to what the icy/diamond-encrusted "8.7.15" campaign — which featured phrases like "icing out the end zone," "Texas royalty" and "speed comes out at night" — was all about was revealed.

Black ones.
Continuing a trend under Kevin Sumlin, the Aggies will again deck themselves in unique alternate threads for a big game — this time on Halloween against South Carolina at Kyle Field.
A&M went 1-1 while donning one-off alternates in 2014, falling to Mississippi State on the road and defeating Louisiana-Monroe at home. The Aggies have not worn a black alternate since their almost universally lauded all-blacks with maroon trim against Mississippi State in 2012.
Friday's announcement dropped just days in advance of the Aggies opening Fall Camp, which begins Monday.
