Six Aggies named by media to preseason All-SEC teams
Led (of course) by Myles Garrett, six members of Texas A&M's 2015 squad were tabbed for preseason all-conference acclaim at SEC Media Days — with Speedy Noil landing in two separate spots.
Garrett, who broke Jadeveon Clowney's SEC freshman sack record on his way to entering 2015 as one of the nation's most known sophomores, was selected to one of the First Team's defensive line spots alongside Ole Miss' Robert Nkemdiche, Alabama's A'Shawn Robinson and Carl Lawson of Auburn.
Noil joined him on the First Team at the return specialist spot, receiving Third Team all-purpose acclaim as well.
Tackle Germain Ifedi and center Mike Matthews both made the Second Team offensive selections, while Josh Reynolds (he the school record-holder) landed on the Third Team offense. Second Team punter Drew Kaser rounded out the Aggies' six selections.
Per the SEC offices, Georgia RB Nick Chubb, Florida CB Vernon Hargreaves and Alabama LB Reggie Ragland were the top vote-getters.
