Brand & social media expert joins TexAgs staff
COLLEGE STATION — We at TexAgs are proud to announce the addition of Stewart Wade as our new Brand Manager, Social Media Director and Product Experience Manager. Stewart, Texas Aggie class of 2004, joins us after a six-year stint as Senior Art Director for DDB in Los Angeles.
Chances are that you are quite familiar with Stewart’s Aggie-centric handiwork as designer and lead author of the entertaining and very popular Tailgate feature at Good Bull Hunting; what you may be less aware of is his professional work with national brands such as Wells Fargo, Activision, Epson, Yahoo, Ubisoft and others.
As his trinity of titles would suggest, Stewart will wear several hats at TexAgs. As Brand Manager, Stewart will watch over the brand to make sure it is consistently communicated and that it effectively and accurately resonates with our current and future markets.
As Social Media Director, he will develop and oversee our social media strategy and act as our social media voice as we speak into topics that are typically out of our coverage areas. Also as part of this role, he will manage a new effort to elevate the great user-generated content that is constantly percolating within the forums.
As Product Experience Manager (and what I might be most excited about), Stewart will help us re-imagine what it is that we (me, you — us) are all doing here together on TexAgs. That is, pushing forward how we experience TexAgs and how we interact with and experience one another.
Stewart is busy moving his wife and two sons back to the 'promised land' and starts with us officially on December 2. We are very excited about what Stewart brings to TexAgs — and we doubt it will take long for you to see why.
Stewart's introductory "post" is included below. Please give him a nice "welcome" as he begins his journey with TexAgs!
