Why, other than recruiting, would LSU oppose Texas A&M in the SEC ?

You guys didn't make the mistake of asking what that corndog smell was the last time you were in Baton Rogue, did you? They don't take very kindly to that over there.

Because if we moved into their conference, they wouldn't be able to get out of playing us every year unless they moved to a new conference...

LSU AD figures it is more of a challenge playing against Oregon, WVU, or ULM.

LSU has bailed out of our series twice and still owes us 6 figures in penalties.

What happened last time we scheduled a series with LSU? Or the time score that one?

I never understood why Aggies still hang on to that. 6 figures??? Really??? I figure Kyle Field earns 6 figures in concessions before halftime every game. The early 90's was a bad time for LSU. Curley Hallman may have been the worst coach in LSU history. The athletic department at the time made terrible decisions especially hiring Hallman as head coach and ending the series. It would've benefited a lot to have maintained that rivalry. Arkansas knew the advantages it would have on TX recruiting rekindled the old rivalry. Wish LSU would've beat them to it.

Pretty sure if Mr Byrne really cared enough to collect that money, he could just give Joe Alleva a call. Probably could cut him the check that day. You guys posted his e-mail on Texags before. Just go ahead and send him a message.

@ JapanLSUfan. It was started by someone at a west coast school about a rival institution. An Auburn fan, who was obviously incapable of original thought, found it and changed the school to LSU.

Unfortunately not the case. When you chickened out of the deal and pissed on the contract by not paying us we did ask for the buyout. We didn't get it.

The next step then involves the state of Texas suing the state of Louisiana over the matter which isn't happening.

Well you had your chance to find closure back in January.

It's amusing that your fan base is so cavalier about breaking a legal contract after you became to scared to play us.

I thought I read somewhere that the whole LSU issue was settled for something like $25K instead of the full amount. Don't know though.

It is kind of ironic that LSU welched on a major contract, in a state full of welchers and welfare leaches.
