This could be Plaxico Burress bad for him if those guns are not registered. Jersey has a "straight to the pound me in the &!# prison" rule for these offenses.

Doesn't sadden me at all. Being an Aggie has nothing to do with it. Hopefully he goes to jail for a long time and grows up.

Man, do I have some conflicting emotions on this. I think this is a great case for how stupid some state weed and gun laws can be. I'm willing to give some benefit of the doubt until more details are known.

How many people reading this have a legal, loaded, handgun in their car? Depending on the amount of weed, this would have been no big deal in California where he had been living for 4 years. In CA, having less than an ounce of weed on you is an infraction with a $100 fine. If the cops had found a lot of weed in the car they would have charged him with intent to distribute, which I haven't seen anywhere.
Yes I agree driving drunk car is stupid, and not knowing the state you live in gun and drug laws is stupid. But there are more details to be known before you rush to judge.
