I kinda see what you guys are saying... I just don't understand the implication that he's getting false hopes of playing quarterback at Texas. No one, not even the Jimmy Clausens, go into a top program and expect to play right away. Instead of redshirting a year and then spending another year or two on the bench like most quarterbacks, Childs may see the field early at another position, simply because he is too good an athlete not to have on the field. It's kind of like Kordell Stewart when he first got to Pittsburgh. He was still learning the quarterback system, but he was so talented that they got him on the field some plays at wideout and running back. If Chiles is good enough, he will play quarterback at Texas. That's all anyone can expect, regardless of who it is and where they're going.
