yep, didn't think about that until I already posted. Anyway, I am tired of seeing articles about Arch Manning!!

I don't like it either, but we're going to have to get used to it.....he's a Manning, the grandson of Archie Manning and the nephew of Peyton and Eli.....he's football royalty. Had to love it when Jimbo said during an interview earlier this year that he thought Holstein might be the best QB in Louisiana. Hint, hint....

He's maybe a 4*. Not a 5*. Nowhere close to it.

I don't see Arch Manning articles daily, but I don't waste my time scouring the web for anything like that.

I for one have an enormous amount of respect for the Manning's success as QB royalty, but at some point the clock will always strike twelve and the dance will be over! This is a media driven charade and if this kid played 4A-6A ball in Texas he would be just another prospect! A lot of folks in Louisiana would argue he not even the best QB (class 2023) in that state let alone the entire country!

Yeah and it's not like he has room to grow and he's raw. He's a freaking Manning. He is very developed and grew up around the game knowing the position. He's not going to show up to campus and develop at a rapid pace and become a great QB. He is what he is. He'll obviously grow some but it wont be some huge jump.

I haven't seen a single article about the kid.

Will be interesting to hear the sips turn on him when he decides to go somewhere else.

Have no clue about Louisiana football but saw an article earlier that talked about him thriving but the competition is sub-par.

It seriously looked like JV Highschool football! Arch had ALL DAY to throw the ball many times. And after 10 seconds of not knowing where to throw it, he would simple prance down field in a 5.1/40 type of way and run out or bounds while Tyrion Lannister chased him.

Once again, with sip, it's all about perception status and image over substance. They think he's going there, but of course if arch decides not to it will be "he was overrated anyway". Wash rinse repeat.

This story sounds familiar -- kid with pro football pedigree, excelling against suspect private and public school competition from another state, all hopes and dreams pinned on him when he showed up.

The other kid had trouble beating out a 5'10" red headed kid for the starting job, threw a bunch of crucial interceptions against a big rival and in conference championship game (lots of pick sixes), never came close to living up to the hype.

Quinn Ewers and Arch Manning as a freshman... let's enjoy that reality show.

Peyton and Eli had Archie coaching them their whole lives. Arch essentially had Cooper.

Correct and I coached at Killeen in 91 when we won state and Judson was a powerhouse in the 80's. It all cycles from good to bad and vice versa... Arch dad was a heckuva receiver and was very fast but had to stop playing or risk not being able to walk if i remember correctly. Last year I saw that he is supposed to have his daddies speed. If he is dumb enough to go to t.u. then Im glad we are playing them.

State championship winner Holstein is better.

I don't even pay attention to Arch Manning or anything going on with him until some jerk post about him on here.

my LSU guy, was sick to his stomach when Eli committed to us. He doesn't think much of Arch. He told me Eli was the #1 QB on LSU's board. My LSU guy is pretty connected .

Put me on record for saying he is a great prospect and will be drafted in the top 2 rounds of the nfl draft whenever he comes out.
