Watching chollies post game presser....that dude is beaten. Won't even look at the camera. He's got no answers, can't believe the team is that bad and doesn't even know who he can fire to make it better. Almost feel sorry for him.

What recruit wants to join that?. Even if u get a bunch of good freshmen, how long before they'r ready?? What juco player would want to play there when Chollie benched every upperclassman in favor of younger guys??

The next 15 months is gonna be glorious.

He really is in a pickle. Wish he could win at least 5 games this year. That might be enough for him to keep his job.

That presser was tough. The guy obviously cares and is committed but it appears he's struggling to find answers. Someone like Mack would put a smoke screen we could ridicule, but Charlie looks like he's close to the breaking point.

CIA interrogators could learn something from watching chollie go from arrogant, no gadget, Core value, mama ass kissing, teddy father figure to the head down, eyes averted rescue dog that he is now.

He looks gutless.

The first thing they need to do is find them a d*mn QB. Heard and Swoopes both suck. They made a hard charge for Kyler (which came up short), but if they even had Hubanek, their offense would be so much better.

Problem with this is they can't just make a QB out of thin air at this point. It takes time to bring someone in and develop them. I'm surprised he didn't get a JC guy during the offseason.


Question: If tu does fire Charlie they will likely get a recruiting surge with a new coach. Who does that hurt more? Us or baylor/tcu?

Not only that, without an OL, it won't matter. A superstar QB will look average behind an average OL, but an average QB can look like a superstar behind a superstar OL.

I don't know if a coaching change would really effect anybody at this point. The sips are so downtrodden, I think there would still be a couple of years of the 'wait and see' approach from recruits. TCU and Rape U would be effected long term...but we'd still be in the best conference and recruits know that. Unless a kid is a die-hard sip fans his whole life or have families like Malik and Boyd, the sips will not see a huge turnaround unless it's a Saban-esque hire...

They can't fire strong after 2 years. He'll clean house in the offseason and get one more shot. They'll fire him next December and throw $6 mil per year at Briles, but the damage will be done. Will take briles two years to get bowl eligible.

I think we're entering a decade of horn mediocrity folks. Soak it in.

Obviously, Tom Herman is a smart guy. Hopefully, smart enough to avoid that cesspool in Travis County.

He can do much better.
