I'll admit I don't know a whole lot about the "Florida Five" so I'm not commenting on them specifically. With that in mind if it were my team I would be concerned by taking too many OOS kids. One or two complements a class but you have to develop talent and you can't do that when they leave to go back home.

i heard tu believes 3 and 4-star kids from florida are better than 5-star kids from texas. something about texas kids being soft and entitled. guess we'll see how that plays out with texas HS coaches.

with the sip QB situation, texas is wisely targeting WRs like irvin and mcneal who also have experience playing defense so they can make the tackle after all the fumbles and interceptions.

None of the florida five are rated in the top 20 of their state. john burt who is #25 will likely flip to auburn and clarington who is #27 will not qualify on even the vy plan.

The next highest is floriwhorn is #33, then #44, and #51. That is not cleaning up in florida recruiting. That is taking guys from florida because you cannot get highly rated recruits from Texas that do not have their moms with a burnt orange fetish making their decisions for them.
