The Jamie Morrison effect. Texas A&M's sweep over Kentucky was the eighth most-watched regular-season volleyball match EVER.

Viewership peaked at 617K on ABC and was the highest-rated October/November match on record. Let's not forget that Texas A&M swept the Wildcats in this one. We are in the midst of watching a sport take off and Texas A&M is right in the center of it.

Someone tell me if it's just my maroon tinted glasses, but watching our team play is crazy fun unlike other good teams. It's not just about the winning. They seem to play with a level of joy that can be seen and even felt by spectators. I think non-Aggie and non-volleyball viewers can see this difference, especially during the tournament run last year.

I assume you watched their Halloween costume video that was posted yesterday. It's very easy to see that this coaching staff does a great job of building team chemistry and makes it fun.

So many great costumes, I'm going with Coach Lindsey for 1st place (her antics put her over the top), Kaia 2nd and Eliza 3rd! I did like Tom's as well, just not sure who he was though.

That's great on TV viewers, not too surprised though.
