Really nice accolades for Waak and Stowers! Morrison has been pushing Waak's name out there. You can have all the big arms in the world on your team but you still need someone get the ball to them. High number of assists per set combined with a very balanced attack means she can do it all as a setter.

Stowers has been a beast and a very good all around player. Her hitting is really versatile but what I really like about her is her hustle on defense. Also, why do teams target her on serve receive so much? She could actually be the best passer on the team!

We had more 1st teamers than Kentucky and tu!

Our setter and the big 3 hitters are amazing. Hellmuth and Perkins no slouch either. If our defense was more solid, we would be unbeatable. Every rotation we can win points but defense/blocking is lacking in some areas. Kentucky exploited our weaknesses over and over. I think Skinner is a better coach than Elliot and I think Morrison is better than both of them. Once our coach gets a steady stream of top players coming in, we will be elite. I'm sure of it. But as good as we are now, I don't think we have the same clout yet so recruiting will lag in some years.

Our ball control is not quite at elite level and I think that's what teams will exploit in the tourney.
