I'm thinking Castle transfers. As of now, we potentially have 5 middles next year, 7 if you count some of the hybrid pins! She and sharp are about to become unstoppable. Next years team will only be lacking a starting OH.

I also potentially see Morris transferring out. She's gone quiet in the SEC and I think that's because the talent has become stronger against competition. I really liked her in the preseason though

Could also be that Omoruyi will play RS, and Incinelli will play OH. Though I'm not certain that she can pass, but she could always be DS'ed by Applegate or Fitch

I also think that is in the cards! I think we could use another 6 rotation OH, but the physicality that they both bring is unmatched. I do think though, unless Castle improve offensively, she would have the short end of the stick

I guess we'll see come portal season, but an intangible potentially is that Kaia has bought into the culture of TAMU, but we'll see. It'll be very difficult to retain five MBs, Adedeji and Stanojevic may also portal

We have two signed in this 2027 class too. I think we could see 2-3 transfer! 2028 also has two of the best middles coming in. I'm curious how he keeps everyone happy.

It's crazy to see how he's stacking talent. If he's able to keep top 10 talent happy with coming off the bench, then we are able to be a perennial top 5 team.

There's no path for Stanojevic to play moving forward with this many MB's. TBD on Adedeji; there is some potential there so we'll see.

I think one if not two of the incoming fish have to be tried out at OH. We need not only depth at OH but a rising tide to raise our current ships. Kendall and Ring are our only current dependable OH's and they are both gone in 13 months (or in Ring's case, less). I know some of the others haven't played as much but they need to be pushing what we have out there now behind those two.

I like having Castle and Sharp around to show the new ones the ropes. I hope they both stick around. Competition in practice should only make all of them better.

Isabel plays a lot of OH in HS and also on the National Team. So she may get a look there when she arrives in Aggieland. Last summer I watched Omoruyi play with Sophee Peterson on the National Team when they won the gold medal. I expected to see Omoruyi play MB but she was playing OPP. She also was showing off with many backrow kills. Jamie seems to like players that are flexible. For 2027 he has has recruited height that is athletic enough to play multiple positions. Trust him.

With that said, the 2028 MB players are true middles. That is why I think Isabel and Omoruyi are OH.

Regardless, I agreed with you that there has to be some attrition to keep the roster at, or under, 18.

I think it's weird to assume Castle will transfer, she's the experienced starter. These younger player will have to beat her out, not the other way around.

Not really, established starters have left perennial powerhouses before (Ames, Vagagic, Schumacher). I think the original poster was just throwing some names out, as it's impossible for any outsiders to know who will transfer

I agree with all your points, it's just that we can't safely say that no one will transfer, even established starters.

I see zero chance Castle transfers. She likes it here AND we need her. Castle made positive comments on Omoruyi's IG regarding her commitment to the Aggies.

As I said above, I believe Incinelli and Omoruyi are OH/OPP, not Middles. We may, however, see some OH/OPP currently on the team transfer looking for playing time.

This team is going to be strong in '27 and especially in '28

I'd like to think that our program isn't just like other top ones in that players want to come here because it's a winning program. I think people see what kind of team Morrison puts together and wants to be part of that. it just feels different. Pulling a girl from Nebraska is unfathomable. All of these girls dreamed of playing there.
