What does the CDC consider "up to date" for vaccines?
I'm going on a trip that will require this. I'm under 50 & had 2 initial doses of Pfizer & a Pfizer booster December 30 2021.

Looking at the CDC website it appears another booster isn't necessary to be up to date since I'm under 50.

I wanted verify that I am correct with any experts here so I don't run into any issues on my trip.

Up to date isn't terribly straightforward. You are up to date though based on my understanding of the cdcs rules below.

Under 50 and not severely immunocompromised.
Within 5 months of your 2nd dose of an mrna vaccine, or have your third dose of an mrna vaccine.

Over 50 or severely immunocompromised.
Within 5 months of your 2nd dose, within 4 months of 3rd dose, or have your 4th dose.

Their rules on J&J are less clear for some reason.

There is no "up to date" requirement for US on travel. You might look at the country you are traveling to though.

I thought you could also just prove a negative test?. I think that is what Philmont is doing with me sons troop right now.

We have to do both for some reason.
I think I'm up to date…. They'll have to fight to keep me off the boat
