Anyone else get this?

My forearm started to feel pretty sore one day and by the end of the day, spots all over my body felt the same. The next morning I was in a ton of muscle pain. Almost like I had just done a CrossFit workout for the first time.

It was the weirdest thing and it concerned me a bit. My back, neck, arms, finger joints, balls of my feet, knees, ankles. I felt so incredibly sore and it hurt a ton to move. Sleeping was near impossible. I couldn't pick up my 25lbs daughter! I had no other symptoms of anything else, but did have a pretty bad sore throat about 5 days before with a little bit of sore throat if I swallowed hard.

Lasted three days and went away. I thought through everything I had done the previous few days and nothing would've triggered my body to be sore like that.

That was two weeks ago and today, my mother in law is going through the same thing. Just curious if anyone else has had that??

While not severe, I had moderate body aches on day 1 of omicron.

Yes, muscle pain is common with covid. Ive had 20 months of Covid Long Haul symptoms and Ive experienced severe pain in my thighs, calves, lower back, shoulders, neck, forearms. I remember one day my legs hurt so bad it was hard to walk. My sister got covid a month ago and she is experiencing severe neck and upper back pain.

Hang in there.

You might want to go get checked out. That could be something else than Covid issues.

Lol Ive had long haul symptoms for 20 months, of course Ive gotten it checked out more than once. Ive gotten all the tests and blood work done and doctors cant find anything wrong with me. Just typical covid long haul.

Body aches were my worst symptom last week when I had covid. Never experienced anything like that before.

Try to take a few baths with epsom salt, seemed to help me a TON.

How do they know it's Covid related if they can't tell you what's wrong?

My body aches every morning, but I don't think it has anything to to with having Covid a month ago. It's been that way since I turned 40

Wife and I tested positive for what we believe was Omicron about a month ago. She has Hasimotos which is an inflamatory auto-immune issue/disease and she is still experiencing muscle and joint pains. They come and go in intensity, but she stays somewhat sore.
