Looks like there is a new tool for those of use who have a suppressed immune system. Supposed to help protect against infection for 6 months after injection if I am reading this correctly.

Good news. The more the better. Things requiring infusion centers, etc are less than ideal vs a pill but glad to see more treatments regardless...

Per NIH, it should, but the clinical data isn't available yet.

It mimics the b-cell response of the immune system to the vaccine (or infection), but in people whose immune systems don't work well.

From what I can tell this is more like a antibody infusion than a vaccine.

The only similarity might be that both provide a limited time benefit....i think this would have to provide better support vs omicron to make it feasible / popular....
