Howdy. I know this board and I have had our differences, but I just wanted to share my experience so far.
I'm unvaxed and had been taking ivermectin prophylactically, but it had been at least a month or so since I took it last. I know ivermectin is a source of conflict here, so I don't want to dwell on that.
Upon onset I quickly felt terrible, achy all over, fever, shivering. I immediately started taking ivermectin, but aches persisted. I felt miserable until I popped some acetaminophen, which helped me sleep for about 3 hours. Since then i feel much better. I've been taking ivermectin, D3, C, zinc, melatonin, turmeric, acetaminophen. There are other things I need to get, I plan on getting them today.
My main purpose for posting on this board is not to stir up conflict or try to be smarter than the room. I know I probably come off that way at times, and I sincerely apologize for when that happens. I just think that covid sucks and far too many have died or had their lives tremendously altered from this virus. And I don't think it has to be that way. My goal truly is to help people survive this.
So, for this thread, I just wanted to make one suggestion that I think everyone can agree with.
Get some vitamin D3 and take lots of it. I'm kicking myself for not being better prepared for my covid experience, and I knew how important D3 was, but I was lazy, arrogant, maybe feeling a little bulletproof. I'm 36 hours in and feel much better now, but maybe if I had been taking D3 like I knew I should my body would have handled it much better.
Who knows, but there are studies that show that most people who die of covid are vitamin D deficient. It's so easy. Get some D3 and take 5000 mg a day. Don't be stupid and lazy like me.
