This is my second go around with COVID and I feel fine aside from neck and back pain. I've been alternating Tylenol and 600 mg ibuprofen but nothing seems to help.

Any suggestions? My neck feels… tired? As if my head is too heavy or something.

My back has been killing me since I came down with it. I normally suffer from constant lower back pain, but this is my entire back. Bad enough that I can't sleep at night.

Yeah, my sleep has been trash. I was sick prior to getting COVID and my prescription cough syrup isn't even keeping me asleep. I was up at 4 am googling recovery time for hernia surgery and pinning recipes.

Heating pad works wonders for my neck & back pain.

Do those with the neck/back pain have any other symptoms?

that was me the first 2 nights back summer 2020. felt like mike tyson was using my back as a heavy bag....just a overwhelming pressure/pain all night mid to upper back. Dr. told me is was the damn virius in the lungs causing inflammation which was causing the pain. those were 2 long nights for me. luckily that was it...until that damn never ending cough caught up to me

Not much, really. Not much of an appetite, headache and my nose occasionally burns but it also did that ever since my first experience with covid.

My wife is congested and has a headache but she was congested leading up to COVID.

We didn't have anything too extreme the first time around and this is even less extreme. I would 100% be working if I didn't know I was definitely exposed and if I had to be working.

Did sleep from about midnight to 9 am this morning, thankfully! We even drank champagne last night because it felt wrong not to.

When you are an old, it's a relative thing. How much appitite loss, headache and nose issues require a visit to doctor. For me if I'm not running a temp and my O2 levels are normal, I'm good to go. FWIW, I'm the outside connection for my family because wife has several comorbidities that put her at risk.
