I am on day 6-7 right now. I am a very healthy 50 year old. Moderna vaccination in June. Previously had COVID in October of 2020. When I realized I had it I thought this will be quick. I haven't had much sense of smell since day 2. The first time I got COVID I could smell just fine.
Day (-2) Attended event with a number of COVID spreaders. No one symptomatic that anyone knew of at the time.
Day 1 - I noticed my shoulders hurting while working out and got a headache doing sit ups. I almost never get headaches.
Day 2 - Woke up with sore throat and felt fatigued. Felt worse with body aches and slight fever as day progressed.
Day 3 - Body aches, low fever, fatigue. Mild headache and nasal inflammation but not much drainage.
Day 4 - More of the same but wake up at night drenched in sweat.
Day 5 - Fever calmed down, no achiness, but fatigue and mild headache remain.
Day 6 - Fatigue and mild headache. Felt like my ears are clogged up but not much drainage. Again wake up twice soaked in sweat. Such a nasty feeling especially when it's the middle of the night and you just want to lay back down in a dry bed.
Day 7 - Again the mild headache. It's hard to describe but it feels like mild pressure from inside my head on my eyes, ears, and jaw. It's not debilitating but it makes me want to close my eyes and sleep until it's over.
