How long do you want to ignore this user?
Vaccinated last year with Moderna. Came down with a mild case. Fever, runny nose, headache, light cough… felt like usual allergies/cold. Popped on home test, confirmed at Walgreens. Immediately got the regeneron treatment which within 12 hours got rid of the fever and started working on the cough. Then lost smell/taste… starting to come back now a week into it. If you get Covid, and can get the regeneron treatment, do it. Multiple people I know really benefitted including myself. Two people in my household and coworker (all vaccinated with Pfizer or Moderna) got the virus too. The people performing the Regeneron treatment said they are getting people in who have even had their booster. My bets are this holiday season the numbers are going to be high, the vaccine does not prevent contagion, take care of yourselves.. Gig Em

Googled regeneron/city I reside. I called the center itself after my test and got appointment. For the treatment you are supposed to be in a higher risk category, could be as simple as being overweight. I have hypertension so I qualified. Takes about 2 hours.

Did you have your doctor send in a note or did you just go?

If just went, did you have to "prove" your hypertension or did you just check a box and walk in?

I had to email them the pdf results from my Walgreens test report. That's all I provided other than filling out the forms before the treatment.

Good to hear!

I have heard stories of how hard it was to get (requiring doc referral including signing off on high risk qualification, etc). Hopefully this is the new way forward though I assume at some point the government will quit covering and that could be interesting due to the high cost....

Hope so! I think after Abbott got Covid and the treatment, he pushed to make it more available to Texans. It was honestly one of the easiest medical treatments I have had other than the volume of time required for monitoring.

My wife and I both wanted it. We were apparently too healthy (both unvaccinated).

It this the IV / infusion treatment that y'all are talking about? If so, I had that done a few weeks back, Same story as OP. I had both shots back in the spring and caught COVID in early November.

I called my doctor after the positive test in the late afternoon and the they called the local group that does the treatment. That group called me back a few hours later with a scheduled appointment for the the next morning out at the Travis County fair grounds location.. It took a couple of hours and was really easy.

There were a couple of other fatties like me and a few elderly types but also some young people that didn't have any obvious medical conditions. Nobody there asked me any questions other than my name and appointment time.

I was vaccinated in January. Got COVID in late July/early August. Mild fever, mild sinus congestion for a few days. Loss of taste and smell for a couple of weeks. . No Regeneron. Just some fluids and vitamin C.

Ivermectin did nothing for me. Neither did hydroxychloroquine. I tried to get the Regeneron treatment, but apparently you don't qualify when you have no comorbidities. At least that is where my PCP tried to get me in.
