So I read on another forum about a guy who took tamoxifen (nolvadex) and had his sense of smell that he lost from covid immediately return after 1 20 mg pill.
What would potentially cause this? The place where it was posted does not generally exaggerate medical things like that and is pretty well versed in the medical field and lots of studies are posted there.
I'd be really curious if this is something that could be replicated.

It does appear that toremifene, another SERM, based on the above link, does have antiviral qualities so maybe there is something to it. Regardless, it's definitely interesting that his smell would come back that quickly.
