The BBC article you reference is the same one Dr. Campbell debunks. You obviously didn't watch the second video. That article is based on nothing. Dr. Campbell looks for the data evidence backing up the BBC article's claims and he can't find anything.
You just figured that out?
I posted it out because the guy's arguments try to disparage the authors rather than address the issue.
My issues with his comments.
1) He attacks journalists for not having proper credentials . . "would you go to a journalist if you have an upset stomach" blah blah blah.
He ignores the underlying criticism of the article rests directly on the fact checking work of a multi-national team of doctors and health science researchers who are probably more qualified than this guy to investigate the subject matter. Shooting the messenger rather than addressing the points.
2) I agree that the article generalizes that ivermectin proponents are anti-vax. Probably not fair.
3) He is wrong in trying to dismiss that people around the world have been sourcing the animal version of this. We see it hear on this board all the time.
4) He is not really being honest in attacking the authors as just a graduate student not admitting that most of academic research is underpinned by grad students working under the supervision of phd and professionals. He just shows he doesn't know what he is talking about there. More attempts to ignorantly shoot the messenger.
This guy has a PhD in teaching. I listen to him because he also has a masters degree in biology. Other folks deserve the same respect.
He then goes on to admit that most of the studies cited by the author did indeed have flaws at that many of them have been retracted and the suggestion of the research paper are all sound.
So I don't really see his point.
