Being a parent with young children, I've always realized the impossible nature of the whole "quarantine" thing. HSers might have the maturity to handle it. I quarantined in 6th grade with chicken pox and actually had a blast. Had my own TV, mom and dad bought me a bunch of stuff to keep me busy, got food I wanted etc. BUt little ones just can't be quarantined. My 5 year old? Ya, nope not happening. I look at it this way, if you have a small child, accept the fact that if they get it, they get it. So might you if you haven't already. Part of the price of being a parent. Plus, its not humane to lock little kids up in a room unless for time out or punishment etc.
It's honestly time to start viewing this whole thing (eh he, clears throat and prepares for the backlash) like the flu. We have a vaccine and we have to stop living in fear. I get that the hospitals are filled and honestly I do not really care overall. I pray for those in the hospital, no doubt. But we are past the point now where our lives need to be put on absolute hold for a damn virus.
