I am having a hard time finding a J&J vaccine in Houston. Vaccine.gov says locations have it as an option, but that is false when i call to make an appt.


Anyone have any recent J&J vaccine recommendations?

I can't find it anywhere. Try calling local (not chain) pharmacies. That was recommended the last time I saw a discussion about it. That govt website is BS, no one has JnJ.

I got it a couple of weeks ago at a place called Greater Elevations.

They have a Facebook page also.

It's in an odd place next to a mechanic but whatever. It's pretty nice little set up inside. She is also doing antibody treatments.

I just walked in and got it but you may need to make an appointment. Just call her. 832-296-7709

My guess is 1 shot equals $, two shots equals $$

Very odd to me too that it's so hard to find.

I got it at the HEB in Fulshear a few weeks ago. I just walked in.

Where did you end up finding it?

I got J&J at Summerwood Pharmacy

I did the same earlier in the summer. Now if you search the HEB vaccine page, there are almost no HEBs with it anymore. Closest one to Houston was in Austin.

It said the same when I went to their webpage too. I had to specifically ask.

So you called each pharmacy and asked? That is good to know, because right now HEB doesn't list it anywhere.

Called the one closest to me and they had it

Checked the website and made an appointment for a pharmacy in New Braunfels. When I showed up to get it, was told that they haven't had it for four weeks and that they were not allowed to update the website. They asked if I wanted the Moderna. I told them no. I guess it was not meant to be for me to be vaccinated. Oh well.

I got mine at Greenbusch pharmacy in Katy

Buddy got his J&J three weeks ago for his job at HEB in Pearland. His wife got hers later at HEB Gulfgate. Both found on website but I suggest calling first.
