Both daughters got it, and my test is pending, but I have had up to a 102.5 fever and have occasionally felt a little light headed. Last night I woke up sweating a lot, so I took an ibuprofen. I switched to Tylenol today since I'm also taking aspirin.

Is it recommended to reduce fever through Tylenol / or let the fever run it's course?

Second question, I'm good to start taking Ivermectin even though I haven't gotten my test back? Does it pair with or go in place of the Dr Rev cocktail?

once daily:
1 aspirin (325mg)
1-2 quercetin (250-500mg)
1-3 Co-q-10 (100-300mg)
1 Zinc (up to 40mg/220mg sulfate)
3 vitamin d3 (5000-6000 iu)
1 vitamin c (twice daily) (1000mg)
1 NAC (600mg) (twice daily)
1 Pepcid (twice daily)

twice daily:
1 vitamin c twice daily (1000mg), megadose 50,000 first day
1 NAC (600mg) twice daily
1 Pepcid twice daily

at bedtime:
1-2 (5-10mg) melatonin at bedtime

Change Quercetin to 1g twice per day if positive.
Zinc 50mg twice per day if positive

Personally I cycled ibuprofen and Tylenol nonstop for 3-4 days as instructed by a few ER nurses I spoke with. This was to avoid the "roller coaster" fever that is typical. You will get to feeling great and then 4 hours off meds get hit hard.

I never understood "riding out of fever". Take the meds and get your rest.

Walk outside regularly.

I'm thankful I have some coworkers married to nurses, because the "help" I received from going to the doctor at our local clinic was embarrassing. Basically told you are positive with body language that was equal to learning you have cancer. Followed by, "treat your symptoms but there is nothing we can do for you."

Need to find a doc that knows how to treat Covid. I was put on a 5 drug cocktail within 1-2 hours of my positive test. Most docs say why yours did. I took Ivermectin, Hydroxychloraquin, Zpac antibiotic, Budesonide steroids via nebulaize, a steroid, and a cough med. my wife was put on the same thing. We managed to stay out of the hospital. good luck.

50,000 mg of vitamin C may give you a nice clean out and have you sitting on the toilet for a while. That is supposed to be 50,000 iu of vitamin D.

Yes, you can go ahead with ivermectin.

At work, we stopped giving the advice several years ago to constantly rotate Tylenol and ibuprofen. Let the body do its job, if you are not too uncomfortable.

Does anyone have a doc that could prescribe what I need, today? Really don't want to wait until Tuesday, would be day 5.

If you are looking to get it today, Push Health is really easy. Have them send the prescription to a compounding pharmacy.

I did get an Ivermectin prescription through Push, but was wondering if there is more to it than that I need to be getting; similar to Jreg90, above?

Here is one provider. Honestly, I'm not sure with the holiday weekend. I'd request it all through push health.

Won't the dosage recommendation come with the prescription?

What's a typical prescription these days? The Ivermectin was prescribed, but we didn't ask for anything else at the time. Not really sure what to push for..

I'll eat a little crow on this, because I've been looking for secondary infections after have already gotten COVID, and there wasn't much evidence for the longest time. And even I've seen studies where if you've already gotten it you are less likely to get it than compared to even the vaccinated.

Well, 3 out of 4 of us got it a second time. Our first time was early February.

Is it like a breakthrough vaccine infection (ie mild?)

Have you (all of you) been checking your antibody status?

It's pretty mild I would guess, got to 102.5 temp and night sweats, skin crawly, small appetite, very rare cough, a little congestion in upper chest (when I cough) but very minor. No breathing issues and o2 is 97+.

I have not been checking antibody. I heard even if you didn't have antibodies you could still have cell memory response that would help protect.

Yes, durable immunity without detectable antibodies is a thing.

I was hoping to compare apples to apples to see if you had antibodies when you had a breakthrough infection.

The first time I got it my symptoms were way less than now. I don't think I had a huge viral load the first time. Same thing with the two kids. Wife on the other hand got it worse the first time and she doesn't seem to have gotten it this time.

I believe there's something to how hard/viral load someone had it.

We got two separate doctors to prescribe Ivermectin, and they both gave different directions. One said take 6 pills a day for 5 days in a row. The other said take 7 pills on day 1 and 2, and then the same on days 8, 9 and 15.

Thoughts on what is 'right'?

So I talked to a real doctor a few minutes ago, he liked the regimen listed above.

Prescribed in addition:

1. Ivermectin - 7 pills for first 5 days
2. Doxycycline for fever
3. budesonide & nebulizer for cough

Getting Regeneron right now. Hope it helps.

So anecdotal here, but 24 hours after Regeneron things improved immensely. First, I thought things were getting worse that night with higher fever than before. But by about 24 hours later things suddenly improved. Today no fever at all, heart rate dropped to normal (was 20-25 beats higher than normal) and feel really good. Only downside I feel right now is no taste and smell other than salt and sweet.
