I wonder if this is what I've been taking here in the hospital. They told me it was for arthritis but is showing to be a big help with Covid. Been on it since I got here last Friday.

please, for the love of God, don't let this be connected to Trump in anyway at all. Like not even their CEO having the name Donald or once having watched The Apprentice.

Dumb ass post, the vaccine developed during is term and the medicines he used while he was in the hospital with covid are all highly recommended by the science community.

Kinda how cytotec. It was made to combat heartburn. Then they figured out that if they put it on your cervix, it would help bring on labor.

Not too surprising, the -tinib class of drugs can produce AEs (ibrutinib, imatinib, etc.)

If you are on oxygen because of having covid, it looks like it might be useful.

Those two lines are pretty close together. What is the actual mortality difference 14% vs 12%? 15% vs 10%?

Looks like better than nothing but not overwhelming, I'm sure it will be researched more.

EDIT: I looked up the Lancet article, it is 15% vs 10% so a 5% reduction. Not bad for a relatively safe last ditch effort on severe cases.

Would that be a number needed to treat of 3? If so, dramatically better than remdesevir and other therapies.

That's a 33% reduction. That's big.
