Well we are about to run a giant experiment on that. I don't think the kids are at risk, but delta is way more transmissible so it seems inevitable that schools will have more outbreaks than we saw with the original strains. If teachers and parents are vaccinated, then it won't cause much trouble. If not

We also have many more students in person than last year. We should learn a lot pretty fast.
