The asymptomatic spreader.
This was an early fear that was not actually very prevalent during the Alpha stage
Now with the Delta strain people that are vaccinated are able to spread the virus and this particular variant is very contagious compared to others. So the fear of the super spreaders without symptoms is now a reality.
We also know that the virus is most dangerous to the infirmed and elderly.
Those people regularly come in contact with health care workers.
I suspect, like in other countries we will soon see a spike in vaccinated deaths in these groups.
Logically, the odds of a vaccinated asymptomatic healthcare worker infecting a vulnerable patient would be at an all time high now.
So have daily rapid tests been implemented?
Or simply, take their temperature and let them get to work?
