I'm on day 2 of symptoms with no vaccine. Fever off/on maxed at 101, body aches, chills/sweats, runny nose, small cough and overall off/on fatigue. My kids were running a fever earlier in the week but recovered very quickly and didn't even phase them.

To the urgent care physician:
Me: "what can you give me?"
Her: "nothing, go home, stay hydrated and go to the hospital if your symptoms get worse "

Me: "can you give me a cough suppressant so I can sleep at night"
Her: "nope, nothing works on a Covid cough. You can go to pharmacy to get Robitusson DM

Me: "so there is nothing you can give me?"
Her: "there is nothing, just stay hydrated and isolate for 8days" (she hands me a covid diagnosis slip)

I have a 7month pregnant wife who contracted covid during the 1st trimester. She is all freaked out which elevates the stress level in the house

My initial score, this is about 50% as bad as the flu. I find walks around the block feels good with the hot sun.

Any other advise is appreciated

What would you take if you had the flu? Take half of that?

Prescription cough medicine helped me out a ton when i had COVID. The fever wore off in a few days, but the cough lasted for at least two weeks, and without cough medicine it would have been very difficult to sleep or be halfway comfortable at all. Just my two cents from my experience.

If you are in Texas, I think (Rev aka Dr. Coates) is doing tele visits. Might be worth contacting him.

I'm 38 and had it back in December. Got it on a Saturday and called my doc Monday to cancel a physical scheduled for Tuesday. He called in hydroxychloroquin, a Z-pack, and cough syrup in. Told me i didn't have to take it but suggested I do it. All symptoms gone in about 6 days. It's ridiculous your doc won't give you anything.

The fact the doc didn't give you anything when there's an effective protocol is why we have so many deaths. Pure BS.

That FLCCC is pretty dang nice thanks for sharing it. Lots of reasonable looking protocols with low risk of adverse effects good stuff.

Seriously, find somewhere / someone to complain about that doc, malpractice IMO.

Flccc regiment kept my symptoms mild, broke the fever in a couple days, and kept the infection out of my lungs. 7 days from symptoms to substantial recovery.

My 69 year old diabetic step-dad would be dead if my mom wasn't on the ass of the hospital to treat him rather that releasing him again. He developed pneumonia after they released him and he couldn't stand up to piss without being out of breath. They finally treated the pneumonia and he walked out of the hospital a new man 3 days later.

I don't believe for a second his situation was unique, and there have been many unnecessary deaths because nobody fought/advocated for them and just accepted what the doctor/hospital did.

OP, these were the exact same symptoms I had last week. Find a doctor to prescribe you ivermectin. It works wonders.

Thanks everyone. I registered with frontlinemeds so hopefully they call me back soon. I'm loading up on most of the items on the treatment plan but just need that prescription

Day 4, I got another good night sleep; the night quill is really helping me stay asleep. No more fever and not really seeing anymore chills or sweats. My primary complaint is my cough and sore throat. My cough is very infrequent, only get the urge to cough a few times a day but it burns deeps. It knocks me to the ground and seems like a lung is coming up with it.

I also have fatigue and seems like when I move around, it gets worse. If I sit on the floor to put my socks on, I could fall asleep.

While you're waiting, load up on vitamin D and zinc. Should be able to find exact mg in Reveille's posts.

I got it last January. I'm 50. Lost smell for a few months. Low fever in the first few days. Very tired for about 5. I had to take a 2-3 hour nap after lunch each day.

Got a nebulizer and did treatments 2 or 3X per day in the beginning few days. Also took several steamy hot showers per day. Heavy vitamin D, vitamin C, Zinc. Eat healthy, hydrate, & zero alcohol or tobacco. Rest as needed. I went for short walks outside too. I got a Z pack from a doc friend.

Agree with the pulse-ox sensor to monitor your oxygen saturation levels. You can pick up the fingertip ones they use in doctor's offices for cheap.

Good luck.

I posed it elsewhere.

I'm vaccinated. So is wife.

Had something, possibly COVID go through my household. Both kids sick for ~48 each last week. Wife had head cold symptoms starting thursday/friday, lost smell on Sunday. I had similar, but lesser head cold symptoms and lost smell today.

Both took COVID vaccine today.

Primary symptoms for both is stuffed up/inflamed sinuses/stuffed ears (on me). I have a slight cough, but it's somewhat productive.

Typically that would be a sign for get a z-pack. But I see all the recommendations for ivermectin.

Any thoughts/

Thanks everyone, I'm all good running around 95%. I still have a slight cough but overall good.

In Summary, Covid starts off like the flu with fever chills and night sweats. Then around day 3, my symptoms primarily shifted to be fatigue and a nasty cough with mucus. This was a cough that would cause tightness & chest pain... I was scared to cough and would try to hold it in because it felt like a lung would come up. The fatigue was also real, taking 3hr naps during the day and could barely walk around the house with my eyes open. This lasted for a few days to where day 6 was probably the apex. This is when my fever broke and started to feel a ton better. I was 80% by day 8 and tested negative by day 10. I tried to cut my grass on day 9 and damn near passed out from exhaustion .... had to go lay down halfway through So the fatigue is real that's for sure. 37yrs in age, clean bill of health non smoker with good blood pressure.

Also I was never able to get a prescription of ivermectin. FrontLineMeds was a little shady and never called in the meds. My treatment plan consisted of Zinc, vitamin D/C, Asprin, otc chest congestion and night quill with a few budesonite breathing treatments. I plan on getting a new pcp soon to get a post Covid checkup.

We're you vax'd? No judgement either way just curious.

Re-read your original post saying no vax.

You case sounds a lot like the parents of a kid on my son's summer baseball team. Their symptoms similar, no vax, lasted about two weeks. Glad you're getting better!
