She's taking severe heat about it, but for which reason?
I can't imagine that a hospital wants the private details of patient communication or discussions with family tossed out to media outlets.
Whatever her intentions were, it was not smart on her part.
And as an aside, there is a family we know and the father was extremely anti-vaxx. He just got put on the ventilator and his wife is in ICU but recovering. One data-point for sure but it is frustrating how people keep ignoring the incredibly severe consequences of these low-probability events.
