Quote:

" We are not seeing reinfections, and when they do happen, they're rare. Their symptoms are mild or are asymptomatic," the professor added.

"Please, ignore the CDC guidance," he urged, adding "Live a normal life, unless you are unvaccinated and did not have the infection, in which case you need to be careful."
Its almost like we have been saying this all along... particularly the part in bold.

In the last 14 months I learned a lot about who to trust.

...the Big 12 is now viewed as the fifth of the big BCS leagues by many recruits. (Rivals.com national recruiting analyst Mike Farrell; August 2013)

Already the weakest of the “Power Five” conferences, the league (Big 12) is hemorrhaging fans, wins, TV ratings and respect. (SA Express R. Bragg; Oct 12, 2016)

Immunity deniers have been a major problem throughout all of this. It is like this particular virus has been allowed to be represented in a way that doesn't follow the patterns almost every other virus follows. All of this is b/c of a systemic failure from those giving us information. The media makes money of of misinformed headlines. A terrible system for which unfortunately I have no answer to. Certain elements of healthcare have a vested interest in misinforming us as well. This, to me, is a similar situation to the Challenger disaster in that bureaucratic agencies run by those serving their own self interests and a media pushing for more eyeballs has actually created a perfect storm where better policies were not allowed to be established and in many cases a much worse outcome transpired (see NY back in March and April). Now you have fully vaccinated and fully immune people who have previously had the virus still fearing that they can contract it at a level that will kill them. It's polarized the nation even more than before all of this. This hasn't been a "win" over the virus. It's been a disaster in so many ways and will be studied as such for years.

Social media & "technological connectivity" has made people aware of things they previously were not aware of.

This is all being driven by irrational, illogical, and unfounded fear.

We now find the vaccinated are still susceptible to infection. The previously infected may have a better chance than those vaccinated. Wonder whatever happened to convalescent plasma. Can't make big money I suppose.
