Thanks. Looks like I got a pretty mild case. I'm on day 6 and my only symptoms have been that of a minor cold (gone now) and loss of taste and smell (still have). The taste and smell thing is the only reason I even got tested. The worst part is having to be isolated from my wife and son on Christmas.

Love how it's basically good old boys club who gets the shot first (at least where I live). Those with a connection to medicine are getting in the front of line- even if not even close to dealing with covid patients... Including our psychiatrist neighbor who works from home and another friend who is in-house counsel for a hospital system here.

All of my friends that have gotten covid were only sick a few days so good for you. One even did a trial on a post positive treatment and made like $500 each time she let them draw her blood after words for testing. Here in Houston.

That's good for your friends. I wish that was true for several of my family members and friends. So freaking unpredictable.

As for the trial, though, do you have any information on that? I'm sure my daughter would like to make some cash if there are similar trials happening around the state and would love to tell her what to search.

I got mine today. I'll keep y'all posted if I develop any superpowers, have any cravings for human flesh, or grow any extra appendages.

What are phase 3 trials?

Before FDA approval, some 70,000 people had received mRNA vaccines and had been monitored for months. They required a minimum of 2 months post vaccine - a number picked because that was the latest post-injection that negative effects have ever been observed from other vaccines. People getting the vaccine now are far from test rats. Several million people have now been vaccinated globally and the worst that's happened is a handful of people have had an allergic reaction.

I'm not personally concerned about adverse reactions. The duration of immunity is the huge question and there is no way to answer it but time and titers and exposures.

I run the busiest walk in facility in our county and for an office see a higher volume of covid than anyone yetwe were deemed second priority. Local hospital might share a few next week.

That is crazy you should be first line for sure.

Three days later. My RHR is still high, but that is likely due to poor sleep (and high caffeine) the last three nights. HRV and Respiratory Rate are back to normal.
