I want to start expanding my awareness to whats going on abroad, because right now I am living inside the US bubble that only tells me that everything going on elsewhere is peachy keen, and we are super evil and incompetent.

Are there any countries getting hit like the Southern US currently is? Where is a good place to start getting on top of that info?

South America seems pretty bad.

Europe and the us had very similar peaks, but then they completely dropped off while we accelerated. It's pretty frustrating when I'm on calls with French co worker and they are in a conference room together with no mask and I won't even be back in my office until 2021.

https://ourworldindata.org/coronavirus-testing

here's one that shows positive rate of testing...several countries are much worse off than the US.

European countries reached heard immunity quickly, but felt the pain for a bit.

U.S.A. hasn't reached herd immunity, but the US is also can be thought of as a bunch of countries out together.

NY/ NJ got it first

Now other states. Right now nothing palatable will stop it

Where are you seeing this? Most there have not from what I've seen. Even Sweden is showing only roughly 10% with antibodies. Spain is roughly the same.

You're in a self imposed bubble if that's all you've heard for four months.

Got an example? Just because infections drop does not in and of itself explain if there is in fact herd immunity.

lacking detectable antibodies doesn't mean lacking immunity

How accurate has this been? It's projecting 13,641 dead in TX by Nov 1. That's 3x our current count.

Go look at Spain, Italy, France, Sweden. It's pretty obvious.
