I think he is wringing his hands with faux out rage because the medical field didnt do enough (in his mind) to chastise the patriot protesters. like he feels they did with the haircut protesters

They have a point. It was a huge double standard.

The Tatiana Prowell that posted the twitter link is NOT who did this surgery as far as I can tell. i THINK the outrage is directed at her Tatiana, but I am still not sure.

Curious to know her health background. Is itresponsibleappropriate to provide a lung transplant to COVID patients over others already on the list?
edit for wordchoice

Again. Every interview I saw with medical professionals during the protests was that this was a bad thing for the virus.
They were as vocal about their concerns for these protesters as they were for the haircut brigade

Group of doctors made a written statement to the media saying racism is worse than covid, go protest. There was a screenshot from a news report (can't find it anymore) that said 'go protest that is ok, but the rest of you stay home and practice social distance.Duncan Idaho said:

Hate to redirect from political angle but that is a stunningly bad lung. It looks almost solid, no wonder they could not oxygenate her w/o ECMO.
Maybe I'm missing something but I don't see that conclusion in their article. People have asked if she was a smoker, vaper, etc. I could easily see where someone could be a 20 something smoker while still being categorized as "healthy".VKint said:
According to Northwestern all COVID damage, below is from their article.
"How did a healthy woman in her 20s get to this point? There's still so much we have yet to learn about COVID-19. Why are some cases worse than others? The multidisciplinary research team at Northwestern Medicine is trying to find out," says Rade Tomic, MD, a pulmonologist and medical director of the Lung Transplant Program.
Quote:
The New York Times reported Thursday that the woman, who is in her 20s and otherwise healthy, is still on a ventilator but she is showing signs of improvement. Surgeons at Northwestern Memorial Hospital described the terrible condition her lungs were in, saying they were "completely plastered to the tissue around them, the heart, the chest wall and diaphragm."
The 10-hour procedure was challenging because the virus had left her lungs full of holes. Doctors blamed their condition on the inflammation from the disease.
"I want to emphasize that this is not for every COVID patient," Dr. Ankit Bharat, the chief thoracic surgery, told the paper. "We are talking about patients who are relatively young, very functional, with minimal to no comorbid conditions, with permanent lung damage who can't get off the ventilator."
Seems like an exception, certainly not the norm...Quote:
She was healthy before she contracted the coronavirus, Dr. Bharat said. She had had a minor illness that required her to take a medication that suppressed her immune system somewhat, but it was not clear whether the drug made her especially vulnerable to the virus.
