It's not fair to call most who don't get a flu shot "anti-vaxx". That's a small minority of the people. Laziness, lack of perceived threat, thinking they can get the flu from the shot, fear of doctors/needles, etc. are all more common.

Couldn't we just get some sort of chip implanted or maybe a skin mark, like a tattoo? I don't like carrying excess paper.

1. Almost always. It was always when we could get them at school. This year I simply got busy and then it was the middle of the flu season and I forgot. Won't happen again.

2. Yes. I am high risk due to age and the bad blood type, and even if I lived through it would be in the group that might wind up with a lengthy hospital stay. I don't enjoy hospitals.

The year the flu vacine was scarce and only the elderly and their caregivers could get it, Dad and I both were able to the the shot. I was his caregiver.

I am now elderly and I hate that word, but I would guess that we might be second priority for getting the new vaccine.

First would be health care workers and first responders and they shoudl be first. I also think those working in groceries and truckers who kept things going for the rest of us should be in the first group. And most of them make way less than doctors and nurses.
