I tested positive 1/8/21. I'm 43 6 foot 170 pounds and healthy. Only health issue I have is a bad thyroid since my early 30's.
I have bad migraines, bad muscle and joint pain, fever, chills, low oxygen levels ranging 86-89, irregular heart rate, congestion and chest pain.
My primary care doctor has me taking Quercetin, High dose Vitamin D3, Zinc, Vitamin C, NaC, Dexamethasone, azithromycin, Crestor, cetirizine hydrochloride, Pulmicort via a nebulizer, tramadol and Motrin.
I have not improved at all. I went to the ER day before yesterday on my primary care doctors orders but all they did was give me a IV, some oxygen, took some more test and X-ray on my chest. They said I needed to be admitted but there not any beds to admit me. They also said I needed Bamlanivimab or the Regeneron Cocktail but they are out.
I'm in Burnet Country and that was the Baylor Scott & White hospital. I'm hoping I don't have to go to a Austin or Round Rock to get the treatment and care I need.
I getting some today from my Aggie vet 3mg tablets. I'm also set to finally get the Regeneron cocktail tomorrow at covid treatment mobile facility. Was goin to ask some of the doctor's here in the chat if I should hold off taking the Ivermectin since I'm getting the cocktail or is that something that something that can take after getting the Regeneron cocktail.samsal75 said:
I personally would be asking the Doctor for a prescription for Ivermectin.
Wishing you all the best.

**Update as of 1/26/21 **
I'm still having post Covid complications after testing positive on 1/8/21. I work for the City of Austin/Austin Energy and have exhausted all my sick leave/vacation, FFRCA paid emergency sick leave. City of Austin has a very strict return to work policy that must have a negative test, no symptoms at all for 24 hours without medication, fitness for duty report from doctor to return back to work. I've taken to more Covid test since the first and both came back positive 2nd was 1/18/22 and 3rd was Monday 1/25/21. So with having symptoms still, still seeing my primary care doctor, cardiologist and a pulmonologist who specializes in critical care diseases, City won't let me return to work or let alone light duty with restrictions. Primary care doctor trying to work a ADA disability with restrictions to see if that will work.
As of today 1/27/22 Fever still comes and goes 99-101. Still having no taste or smell , still having bad migraines, still have a cough & congestion, tightness in my chest feels hard to breath, still have irregular heart rate at times the highest it's been is 154 bpm, oxygen levels has increased to 90-94, still have fatigue and joint pains, can't sleep at night, feels like my anxiety is probably up, also new symptom is tingling/zapping sensations in my arms and legs.
Current meds still taking Quercetin, High dose Vitamin D3, Zinc, Vitamin C, NaC, Dexamethasone, doxycycline, Crestor, cetirizine hydrochloride, Pulmicort via a nebulizer, tramadol, Motrin, dipyridamole, metoprolol.
Went off azithromycin after about a week. Primary care Doctor put me on doxycycline since X-ray on 1/18/21 showed possible bacterial infection in my chest. Primary care doctor also gave me a prescription for the migraines sumatriptan 100mg said I could take all 100mg of it or cut in half and take 50mg. I haven't taken it yet as nervous about the side effects.
Cardiologist put me on Dipyridamole and Metoprolol for my heart. He says I have Myocarditis due to Covid. Also bumped up the Crestor to 40mg up from 20mg that my primary care doctor had me on when I first got Covid. He also gave me a prescription for 20mg of Olmesartan if my blood pressure gets to high. I haven't filled the olmesartan yet. I also wearing a wireless heart, blood pressure, oxygen level monitor that has ekg capabilities that works through a app via the cloud for real time monitoring that the doctors can see

The Regeneron infusion is getting good results. As does ivermectin. I would take both. They don't interfere with each other and both are anti-viral with different mechanisms of actions.

I take 5 mg of prednisone daily for polymyalgia rheumatica. Should I skip my dose the day (or two) prior to COVID vaccine? I can't ask my dr as I was scheduled on Friday night for Monday morning. Thank you.

Do you suggest not taking your supplements while getting the vaccine?
I am praying for her!pbrancazio said:
My mother is 98, resides in a senior living facility, and tested + 8 days ago which was right at 14 days after her first vaccination. I was able to get her started on day 3 on the 5 supplements with agreement from her Dr. Just got off a zoom call with her and she says she feels fine. All vitals are good and no fever or any symptoms. We are praying that she continues on this path. She has always been very healthy, strong Polish/Russian lady. Her grandfather, my great grandfather lived to be 106. Thanks to all the Drs posting, the value of your advice is tremendous.
That's great to hear.pbrancazio said:

It should be a combination of symptoms. Usually it is pretty noticeable by the parents. Your child will not be acting at all like their usual self. Here is a list of things to look for.Kendall Rogers said:
Hey Rev (DOC), your posts have been pretty helpful.
Just to be proactive, what are the primary things you've seen and would suggest watching when it comes to Multi-Inflammatory in kids?
Kids just recovered and had very minimal symptoms, but just want to be vigilant, as uncommon as MII-C might be.
No it should not have any effect on the vaccine.GrassFarmer88 said:
Dr. Rev thanks for your continued guidance to this forum. Quick question about Ivermectin as a preventative and receiving the vaccine. Will Ivermectin interfere with the effectiveness of the vaccine?
It is still in the investigational stage but appears to have some benefit. I hope it helps you!illbethere said:
doc, i qualified and i just had infusion today of Bamlanivimab, they were out of Regeneron. so this is good for me?
No I don't think that is the case. While the etiology of loss of taste and smell is not completely known we believe the SARS-CoV-2 attacks by targeting a receptor called ACE2 on the surfaces of cells, and sustentacular cells (support cells of taste and smell) have many such receptors. This suggests that the coronavirus infects the support cells, leaving the neurons vulnerable.Madagascar said:
Dr., I heard from a healthcare provider that it is theorized the loss of taste/smell is due to a zinc deficiency as your body is using up all your zinc to fight the virus. Does this sound logical to you? Would taking zinc on its own when you get sick potentiality work to lessen the impact of losing taste and smell?
