My cousins live in Anahuac and parents live in Beaumont. It will take years for SE Texas and Houston to recover.

Unbelievable. Those people lost everything including their means to make income.

Except for the shelter segment, I've known all those people either talking or working in the background all my life. Sad part is that there are a lot of Winnie's out there that were hit and majority of news organizations do not give them a second thought. Like Dustin said, we're going to be all right. Grieve for a few seconds and then just start work. Ain't going to get nothing done sitting around crying about it.

Tragic. As sad as it is for all of the people, I hated to see the effect on the animals. At least we knew what was going on.

Grew up playing Anahuac & East Chambers in sports. That's a tight knit, tough group of people out there. My family from back in Orange had it rough also bud. In laws with 57" in their home. Yes, agree it will take years.
