Looks like water will finally recede this weekend or early next week and I can finally get into my house and start demo and clean up. Because my house has been underwater since about 8/28 I need a structural engineer to check out my foundation and first floor studs. Can anyone on here helpnout or know a guy?

I simply cannot imagine that rebuilding would not be the best option in this case? How deep was the water? Foundation, structure would not be your biggest issues and if they are should be very apparent when you return. Studs, mold, smell, etc are the bigger worries. Your base plates and studs have already begun to harbor mold, and like the entire wall cavity.

Not sure your insurance or financial situation, but if you can, let her go.
