Potential for additional storms/rain?

I hate to bring this up, but does anyone have any insight on Irma and/or the low pressure system already in the gulf? I know they are both potentially a ways off and modeling is not necessarily reliable this early, but how worried should we be about these systems? I've been pulling up models and tracking info but I know there are people who understand this stuff way more than I do.

Thanks

No expert here, but I have been watching gulf storms for ~30 years. I think that if we get rain, it will be minimal like a regular summer storm. Maybe 2-3", and not as a named storm. Best thing will be that it won't linger no matter what shape it is in. My guess is that other than the stuff still flooded today (Barker, Addicks, & Buffalo) most of Houston wouldn't care. No clue what would happen with those three.

Forgot to add on Irma. Keep watching over the next 5 days. The lower it trends, the higher risk it is for us. If it trends north, it will get sucked north before Florida.
