We went down to Houston yesterday with some others to help get people out of their with our boats and couldn't believe the scale of devastation. On the way back last night we started thinking of ways we could help people out with the equipment and trucks that we have, and met as a team this morning to try to work through some of the logistics.

We want to offer our services to anyone who needs to get belongings out of their flooded homes and into safe storage. We cannot transport flood damaged items, but know that many people have a lot of property (furniture, clothes, etc.) that was not damaged by the flood that is still inside of their homes that needs to be moved out before mildew and mold become an issue.

If you or someone you know need our help, we're happy to help and get to their homes as soon as the water recedes enough for our trucks to access them. We want to make sure that we get it all moved to safe storage facilities before it mildews or has mold issues, and will work with insurance claims down the road.

We may be going back down tomorrow if our help is still needed, but everyone stay safe and please continue to help one another. Can't tell you how touching it was to see everyone pitching in to help one another yesterday in Houston. We'll never forget it.

This is the real need. Cleanup is the hardest, heaviest, slimiest, most dangerous and tedious work of all. This is where flood victims really need the most help, and where the fewest get it. I really appreciate your doing this.

Ps- rising rain water is bad enough, but literally a cakewalk compared to the river flood muck that covers those victims.

If you're in Cy-Fair check out the "Cypress Demo Team" Facebook group - they are coordinating efforts in NW Houston
