I didn't see a thread for this area. Please post updates and links for shelters and their needs, store openings, anyone who needs help.

Lots of this area was badly flooded by cypress creek and tributaries. I used to live in Cypresswood. Reached some former neighbors and our area of my old neighborhood mostly did not flood due to being on a bit of a rise, but lots of areas around it did. I think water is receding slowly but there have been some power outages.

Trinity Lutheran is now updating their website about shelter needs. https://www.trinityklein.org/

Northside Christian Church has a lot of good info on their site. They don't need anything new now but have lists of other area shelters. http://www.northsidechristian.com/ways-to-help

I'm not sure about Spring First Church on 2920 by Ace Hardware. They had needs yesterday but might be okay today. Lots of people were dropping stuff their yesterday.

New Chick-Fil-A (Spring Stuebner at new shopping center) drive-thru will be open today from 11:30AM until 8:00PM per SpringWoods Village page.

Yankee Donuts on Spring Cypress by HEB is open but only has donuts, no kolaches.

If anyone needs kitchen appliances we a GE set. We had just replaced ours two weeks ago and have the old stuff in the garage, no water damage. It's all in working order but the dishwasher will need a power cord.
