I'm seeing conflicting reports about a water boil notice that tap water may be contaminated.

I did hear on either tv or radio that one of the small MUDs or some other smaller utility district had issued a boil notice. Can't remember which it was but I do recall hearing it. Sorry I don't have more info.

Nottingham Country just west of the Barker Reservoir has a boil water notice in effect.
This link https://www.tceq.texas.gov/response/hurricanes has lots of information, including lists of inoperable water and wastewater systems, and systems with Boil Water Notices. There may be a lag between water systems reporting to TCEQ and the information getting updated on the lists.
Berkey is much better than boiling. We don't drink Houston water without the Berkey
