I think I have access to a pontoon boat in AUS. Having a bit of trouble determining where exactly to take it! Sorry if posted elsewhere. I searched and didn't find an answer.

Edited to note that I'm thinking of coming in from Denver, so want to be pretty sure I can do some good before flying all the way down.

BCase, I have a pontoon boat less than 1.5 hrs from Houston. I was instructed not to bring a recreational boat as it would only add to the problem. Flat bottom boats only. I think I can agree with the premise, but I know for sure that I'd be able to help lots of people.

There are nowhere near enough boats! Not by miles and miles! I will recommend looking at fringe areas such as La Grange or East Texas right now if you want to make a huge difference.

That's the hard part. I've been in contact with some people in La Grange tonight but still have no real plan. I'm heading there at daylight and plan on just finding a way to help.

You won't be able to get a pontoon boat off a trailer to do any good in most places and if you do you, you can't get it back on. I saw 15 people trying to put a pontoon back on a trailer in Kingwood yesterday and there was no way it was going to work.
